Bui Thu Huong is an Enterprise Advisor, based in Better Work’s Hanoi office. She joins Better Work Vietnam with about ten years of experience working in various development areas, with strong focus on gender, community development and monitoring and evaluation (M&E). During her time with UN Women, as Programme Analyst and previously as M&E Specialist for the UN Inter-Agency Gender Joint Programming Group, Huong worked intensively on various gender issues including women’s political and economic empowerment, gender based violence, gender mainstreaming into laws and policies and HIV/AIDS-related gender issues. Her social development, gender and M&E professional experience further entails her technical works for The Asia Foundation, DFAT’s funded Australia-Asia Program to Combat Trafficking in Persons, ADB-funded Central Region Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Project along with other international consultancy companies and NGOs in Vietnam and overseas. She holds a Master’s Degree in International Development from the University of Sheffield, UK and a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Foreign Trade University, Hanoi.
