Hoang Lien is Operations Manager of Better Work Hanoi Office. She comes to Better Work from the International Finance Corporation (IFC), where she worked as a Training Coordinator involved in developing the trainer qualification process and training partner network for Better Work Vietnam prior to its launch in 2009. She also supported the development of several Better Work training products, including supervisory skills and workers’ rights and responsibilities trainings. Prior to this, Lien spent several years working with Oxfam Quebec and UNICEF Vietnam where she managed, monitored and evaluated development projects. She also worked with Schmidt Electronics Vietnam as a Customer Service Officer. Lien has a Master’s degree in International Development from International University of Japan, and a B.A. in Foreign Economics from Vietnam National University, Hanoi.
