After joining the ILO in 2011, Sara coordinated the ILO Global Business and Disability Network in Geneva and managed projects on disability inclusion in the ILO-Jakarta office. She then joined the Better Work Global team in Geneva, supporting a global project on occupational safety and health as a Programme and Technical Officer. After moving to Better Factories Cambodia in 2017, she subsequently became the Programme Manager. Before working for the ILO, Sara spent more than eight years working in resource mobilization, campaign management, child rights advocacy, and innovation for development at the Finnish Committee for UNICEF in Helsinki. Sara holds an MSc in Economics and Business Administration from the Hanken School of Economics, and an MSc in Human Rights from the London School of Economics.
